About Me

I believe that as humans, we are wired for connection, and yet our life experiences sometimes present obstacles to achieving the relationships we most desire—with ourselves and with others.

My approach as a therapist is grounded in the conviction that we are each motivated by the desire to craft a life that is meaningful, hopeful, and aligned with the things we value most. I bring my training and experience as both a nurse and a licensed clinical social worker into partnerships with clients who are seeking support during challenging life experiences and transitions.

I have a collaborative approach to learning more about you and your individual struggles, concerns, values, and goals so that together we can develop a treatment plan designed to meet the needs we have identified.

I have experience in working with both adolescent and adult clients facing end-of-life, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, and issues related to life transitions. I draw on skills from cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness approaches.

I look forward to working with you to support you in whatever challenges you may be facing.
