What to Expect

After you fill out the form, someone from our team will reach out to learn a little about what's going on and what you're hoping to get from therapy. From there, we'll match you with a therapist whose experience fits what you need and help you find a time that works.

We take the time to find the right person for you. If that person isn't at WPA, we'll help you find a therapist who is.

​

Sessions take place in our Murrysville office by appointment, or by telehealth from anywhere in Pennsylvania if that's easier for you. Most of our clients use insurance, and you'll find the plans we accept listed below.

Payment and Insurance Accepted

Most of our clients use insurance to cover the cost of therapy with us. WPA accepts the following insurance plans:
 

  • Blue Cross/Blue Shield Commercial Plans

  • Highmark BC/BS Commercial Plans

  • UPMC Commercial Insurance

  • United Healthcare/Optum Commercial Plan

  • Cigna/Evernorth Commercial Plans

  • Geisinger Health Plan

  • Aetna Commercial Plans


Self payment/private pay is also accepted.
 
We cannot accept Medicare.

All copayments are due at the time of service.

If you have an out-of-network insurance, full payment is due at time of service.

If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before your appointment slot, you will be billed a no-show fee.
 
The out of pocket costs for those not using insurance is $165 for the initial assessment session and $135 for a 53 to 60-minute session with a clinically licensed therapist.
