About
In our society, we often highlight the work that we do in our place of employment or education, but we shy away from addressing the necessary work we must do on ourselves and in our relationships. This personal work, while often intimidating and challenging, can be the most meaningful and rewarding work we ever do.
As a clinician, I hold safety as a non-negotiable imperative for the therapy space to be productive. I also encourage my clients to use the safe therapy space to lean into the discomfort required to make the changes that they wish to see in their lives.
I have specific background working with individuals who have experienced trauma especially through domestic violence and abuse. I also have significant experience both professionally and personally working with families and children impacted by adoption. My diverse life experiences as a minority, an adoptee, and a woman of faith have only aided my ability to effectively connect with and serve others.
I have specialized training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and often utilize general Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as a systems based approach to my work with my clients.
I work with individuals, couples, and families who have experienced trauma as well as concerns related to depression, loss and grief, and anxiety.
Available starting January 31, 2022.
A team that’s been doing this work — and doing it well — for decades.
"I became a therapist because I know what it feels like to be lost and not know where to turn. I started WPA because everyone deserves a therapist who actually fits — not just whoever has an opening.
Our team of licensed clinicians has spent decades helping people across southwestern Pennsylvania find their footing again — through anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and everything in between.
We've walked alongside thousands of people who came to us feeling stuck and left with something they didn't have before: a way forward.
That's what we're here for. And we're ready when you are."
